I am a wife, and mother to a 6-year-old amazing boy. In my free time I love to explore Perth playgrounds and the countryside with my family. I love travelling, visiting new places, being out and about in nature, and gardening. I was born and raised in Kenya where I trained as secondary school teacher. I however currently work as a centre manager at an Outside of School Hours Care / Kindy Care Centre in Mt Lawley.
What I bring to the Board
I hope to be of help and contribute more to board meetings - I find that I am learning more. (We would also like to say Flossy brings significant expertise in childcare, along with her spirituality, and perspectives from her stage of life. ed.)
What I love about Living Grace Dianella
I love the family feel of Living Grace Dianella and the fact that children can join the service with the toys set up. While looking for a church in 2020 (I had gone to a few churches) I came across Living Grace and thought to trial it by myself and left my son at home. After the service, an amazing church member came to talk to me, showed me the parent’s room and how you can still enjoy the service without feeling left out. I knew then that this was the place God was directing me to.
I have come to know and understand God more – learning to listen to the Holy Spirit.
